Organization the Preppy Way!

School. Something we all dread but a good excuse to go shopping and find the perfect clothes to show off down the hall or on campus! But what about all the school supplies...boring, OR could it be exciting! Organizing and fun folders and notebooks and change boring old school supplies into showing off your style and what you like! I always got a Lilly Pulitzer planner each year without hesitation. But, this year I broke away from my favorite print and went onto Erin Condren and found some fabulous planners! They have all sorts of designs and plus you can customize it with your name, and you can get all sorts of stickers and decorate it up! When I got my planner in the mail I jumped up and down I was so excited, I know what y'all are thinking you got excited over a planner? Just hear me out I promise you will be hoping over to Erin Condren when I am done. First off personal stickers, in the back of my planner there is a little clear pouch that had stickers some with my name on them and others with all sorts of saying you can put on presents or anything for anyone you want to give something special to! Also there is a section with more stickers that say birthday, hair appointment, girls day ect! That you can put on whatever day so you dont forget! Now I had to add my own pop of me to it so I went to michaels and got some washi tape for a dollar! From sparkly gold for January to Christmas Trees and presents for Christmas! Planners are a perfect way to stay organized and also have fun decorating and showing it off to everyone!

My Sorority:

Sorority Girls. Yeah some people have a negative thought and a lot to say about those preppy girls screaming and throwing up weird looking signs all of the time. But I am here to tell you there is a lot more to being greek than the letters and the parties. I am currently a Kappa Delta at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Kaydee has been a life changing experience for me and has bonded me with some of the greatest girls I have ever met. Kaydee has challenged me mentally, and spiritually through the study hours required each week to the weekly bible studies held. A sorority is so much more than the negative stories told and the reputation sorority girls have. Kaydee has a philanthropy like all sororities and ours happens to be Girl Scouts, where we get to visit young girls and influence them in a positive way. I am so incredibly blessed to be a part of such a great group of girls and also a wonderful sorority! AOT!

Quick Fix Meals

It's that time of year again for us to move away from home and venture off to the real world.....COLLEGE ( yikes) I don't know about you guys but I was so stressed trying to find the perfect bedding, all of the comfy mattress pads, and most importantly as many monogrammed items as I could pack in to a what felt like a 8 by 8 box we will call "home" But what do you eat? Of course we have the cafe and to be honest I was super excited about but like the mystery meat we had at my high school the cafe wasn't to far from a repeat (yuck) Where is my moms home cooking? Well I have some healthy but delicious tips I used that ultimately saved my life, and my stomach!

1. Frozen Meals- For quick oh crap I have class in 20 minutes meals!  I know what your thinking gross a frozen meal? I might as well just go to the cafe, but wait just hear me out! I found there are actually good frozen meals that have a lot of protein and are actually yummy and keep you full!

2. Turkey Wraps- For those of you who want to cook and spice it up a little bit. All you need is:
* tortillas I used whole wheat ones but you can buy any kind * turkey or ham  *hummus *spinach
Its now pretty self explanatory but it was my go to meal for protein, fiber, and iron all in one quick easy meal!

3. George Foreman- Some dorms may not let you have one but I got a small George Foreman grill and got chicken or salmon and cooked it really quick to have actual meat and something fast!

Gray with a POP of Pink!

Fifty Shades of Grey. But wait what if I told you that didn't just mean the amazing E L James novel. What if we changed it to.... Fifty Shades of Gray. For years people have been turning to black to be a feminine but cute color to pair with any color you might want to wear. But what if now we change ball to gray with a pop of pink or a splash of red instead. Could we now starts saying that we all need is a "Little Gray Dress" But I don't know about you guys but I am a very visual person so I hopped over to polyvore and created some outfits to show you guys just what it would look like:
